Now more than ever, there is a need for goodness in our world and after nine years, The Great Charity Challenge presented by Fidelity Investments continues to deliver greatness to our community. With over ten million dollars given to over 200 local Palm Beach charities, GCC has grown to be one of the greatest givers in history here in Wellington.
Under the helm of Executive Director Anne Caroline Valtin, the 2018 drawing was held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center on December 2, 2017 where a selection of 34 charities are promised to share over 1.8 million dollars.
On Saturday February 3, 2018 the GCC main event will take place at the PBIEC where horse riding teams are matched with each charity and will compete for the top prize of $150,00. The rest of the $1.8 million is then divided according to placement. This will be an evening where the riders are dressed as their favorite movie characters and families will be treated to petting zoos and carnival rides and games throughout. It has grown to be a celebratory event in Wellington that can’t be missed.
