First CSI*5 Grand Prix of the 2021 Season

$401,000 Douglas Elliman Real Estate CSI*5 Grand Prix had 40 pairs of riders and horses compete for the first prize of $132,330.

Nine of the 40 went clear (no knockdowns or time faults) during the first round.

Of the nine four went clear during the jump off.

Ireland’s Shane Sweetnam riding Alejandro took the first place prize.

Martin Fuchs of Switzerland, the number two rated rider in the world, came in second aboard Clooney 51 to take home $80,200.

The USA’s Devin Ryan, the first rider to lead off the competition of the night, ended up finishing third riding Eddie Blue and received $60,150 for his efforts.

Beezie Madden with Garant won $$40,100 for her fourth place finish.
