The City of Lake Worth had a great Fourth of July this year, with activities along Lake Avenue and also the Cultural Plaza. The traditional raft race took place in Bryant Park. Lake Avenue had a Lake Worth business showcase and two Enigma Pro Wrestling shows, in addition to live music and entertainment. The Cultural Plaza featured the Lake Worth Art League Art Show and the KISS Alive Tribute Band. Fireworks took place at Bryant Park at 9 p.m. followed by a laser light show to end the night at 9:30 p.m. at the Cultural Plaza. The city showed off The Gulfstream Hotel, which was built in 1925, and had been closed for years, to give visitors a taste of the past. The hotel soon will re-open.
