The first Grand Prix of the 2021 season

The first Grand Prix of the 2021 season was held on Sunday, January 10th.

The $75,000 event was sponsored by Bainbridge Companies.

Thirty teams of riders and horses were entered into the event.

After all went through the first round, only four pair went clear (no faults).

In the jump off only one rider, McLain Ward of the USA riding Catoki, who not only had the best time but were the only ones to have a clean outing.

The winner’s share was $22,500.

Second place when to Erynn Ballard of Canada aboard Kamill D.  Her reward was $16,500.

Grace Debney of the USA riding Zarina De Vidau received $9,750 for finishing in third place.
