The Palm Beach County Black Chamber of Commerce held the 12th Annual Ascension Awards Program Dinner, on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST at the Palm Beach Convention Center. The evening’s program was filled with captivating experiences, including a sophisticated cocktail reception, a sumptuous dinner, and electrifying musical performances by the Lake Worth High School Drumline and Jazz Ensemble, and the renowned saxophonist Al Johnson. The highlight of the event was the announcement of the 2024 Ascension Award recipients, recognizing individuals and entities that have ascended to greatness in their respective fields.
F. Malcolm Cunningham, Jr., a distinguished attorney, was the keynote speaker, offering valuable insights and inspiration. The program’s emcee was the esteemed news anchor, Hollani Davis from WPTV, ensuring a seamless and engaging evening for all attendees.
Moreover, the event featured a live canvas painting by the talented visual artist/engineer, Wanita Dixon, PhD. The gala was graced by distinguished sponsors, including Hubbard Radio, The Palm Beach Post, the City of West Palm Beach, and Comcast, highlighting their commitment to supporting and empowering the African American business community.
