1. What is the name of the website?
Visit www.aroundwellington.com! Readers can also find it by simply Google searching “Around Wellington.”
As a business owner, you develop an offer (for example, 20% OFF for one month). We work with you to get the wording and the overall “look” of it right. And we email your offer to our ongoing list of Around Wellington readers, currently approximately 2,000 email addresses. This list continues to grow each month with our contest, as those who enter our contest are also submitting their email addresses.
3. What do we need to get started with online advertising?
Please send us your logo or an online ad that you have ready: JPG files and PDF files are preferred. Please also send us your website address. Or let us know if you’d like the logo to link to an existing ad instead. And send us a slogan or a brief 1-2 sentence description of your business, including your phone number (for the roll-over message).
4. How do I make changes to my existing ad online?
Just contact us anytime with your changes at: aroundwellington@earthlink.net or (561) 965-6617. All ad changes are charged a design fee of $40 per hour; however, there is no fee for any changes that take 30 minutes or less to do.
5.How are payments made for the online advertising? When is payment due?
We will accept credit card payments only: MC, Visa or AmEx. Ask for our credit card authorization form or find it on our website on the “Advertise” page. Credit cards will be charged between the 15th – 20th of the month prior to publication. For example, your credit card will be charged between January 15 – 20 for the February ad.
6. What will drive readers to your website?
We will still offer a monthly contest, monthly columns by our writers and many other elements from the magazine-version as you know it. We will be taking more PHOTOS “Around Wellington” of special events…from charity events to kids’ soccer games to groundbreakings and posting them on our website. Our loyal Around Wellington readers will keep reading their favorite parts of the magazine online. And the photos, posted exclusively on our website, will drive new readers to our website as well!
7. Is this a monthly publication?
Yes. However, we publish 11 times per year. There is one combined issue in the summer; usually the July/August issue is combined.

9.What is the “Menu of Marketing” services on the website?
Businesses will be offered more targeted marketing services, thanks to a team of talented people who have worked on the magazine over the last 3 years. Would you like a customized newsletter or magazine for your own business? Do you need photos of a special event that your organization is involved in? Do you need a new logo designed? Do you need a postcard developed…to be mailed out to our Around Wellington readers in Wellington and Royal Palm Beach? Do you need a website designed? Would you like an expert proofreader or editor to check over your current marketing materials before you go to print? These are the types of marketing services that will be at your finger tips.
10. What is the “story about our business” that we get with the 12 months of online advertising?
Similar to the “Merchant of the Month” story from our print publication, we will interview you about your business and what you do best, take photos and write a story of approximately 500 words for publication on our website. If you have already been featured in the past, we will focus on a particular aspect or angle of your business, making it new to our readers. The “Around Wellington Spotlight” will be a great showcase of all that you have to offer.
Just download our Advertising Rates & Info from the Advertise link.
12. How can I search the website?
Just click on “Archives” for all past articles of the magazine. Find past articles and news releases. Our website is also searchable – just go to the top right corner.
13. If needed, how can I cancel my ad?
For cancellations, please call us at (561) 965-6617 or email us by the 15th of the month, prior to publication (i.e. by Jan. 15th for the February ad). For cancelling a contract early, a nominal fee of one more month is due upon cancellation. For example, for an ad that still has three more months reserved, if a cancellation is made by Jan. 15th, then the February payment is due upon cancellation.
THANK YOU for your business!
