45 pairs of riders and horses took to the grass Derby Filed under cloudy, damp conditions for the $216,000 Mars Equestrian CSI4 Grand Prix.

Five went through the first round clear (within the time limit and no knockdowns).

During the jump off only two went through clear.

Conor Swail of Ireland riding Count Me In with the fastest time in both round one and the jump off finished first and collected a check for $74,580.

Second place went to Laura Kraut of the USA aboard Confu and received $45,200 for her efforts.

Israel’s Ashlee Bond riding Garfield went home with $33,900 for her third place finish.

Luckily for all participants and spectators the rain stayed away for the entire event.
