3rd annual Ladybug Release Party
Bring the family for a day full of ladybug fun on Saturday, February 11th! Kids will enjoy ladybug crafts, face painting, and of course…ladybug releases!
Children are encouraged to come dressed as a ladybug for a chance to win a special Palm Beach Zoo prize pack during our Ladybug Costume Contest!
The Schedule for Ladybug Day is as follows:
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. DJ, Face Painter, Air Brush Artist & Craft Station
11:30 a.m. First Ladybug Release
12 p.m. Ladybug Costume Contest
12:30 p.m. Second Ladybug Release
1:30 p.m. Third Ladybug Release
Please note that there will be sign up sheets for each of the ladybug releases as you enter the Zoo. Participants will receive a colored wristband corresponding to their chosen time.
Ladybugs are a natural pest control insect and are great for your garden and lawn. They eat damaging aphids and plant mites.
