This Year’s Erin Fernandez Memorial Scholarship Winner

This year’s Wellington High School Band drum major Matthew Tenore was awarded the Erin Fernandez Memorial Scholarship at the band’s annual awards banquet held May 12, 2012, at Madison Green Golf Club. The scholarship is given each year to an outstanding senior in the WHS Band who plans to go onto college and major in music. The scholarship was established in 2004 in memory of Erin Fernandez, a WHS Band member who was killed in a car crash in June 2003.
