ERNIE’S ITALIAN CHOPHOUSE TO HOST EXCLUSIVE BELL WINE DINNER

Ernie’s Italian Chophouse is the new tucked-away dining destination shining brightly in Lighthouse Point and the namesake first restaurant of Florida nightlife veteran and Brooklyn native Ernie Patti.  On Tuesday, June 26, 2012, Patti, and Executive Chef Gary Wood, will dazzle with an exclusive wine dinner with Bell Wines from California.  The special menu, served promptly at 7:00 p.m. and with limited seating, will embrace the big, bold flavors that Ernie’s is known for with a more contemporary spin.  “Wine dinners are a great chance to experiment and serve dishes that might not be on the menu but possibly could,” commented Wood.  “We’re excited for our diners to experience the surprising flavors we have in store.”

Oven Roasted Sea Scallops with Chili Champagne Foam and Pea Tendrils

Grilled Quail with White Polenta, Taleggio Cheese, Bing Cherry Gastrigue, Local Micro Greens

Third Course

Short Rib Ravioli with Upland Cress and Celeriac Chips

Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 Napa Valley and The Claret 2009 Napa Valley

 

Fourth Course

Coriander Crusted Lamb Loin with Beluga Lentils and Grape Mostarda

Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, Clone 6, Rutherford, Napa Valley

Fresh Pork Belly, Baby Arugula, Black Mission Figs and Maytag Blue Cheese

Price per person is $125, all-inclusive, and must be paid in advance at time of reservation.
