August 31st, 2012 from 6 to 10 p.m. – Gems Rock Nights at the Museum
Gems rock at this Nights at the Museum! Come see all that glitters and discover gems and minerals in their natural form. Guests will also learn how minerals are used in everyday life. The evening will feature panning for gemstones, Geode cutting, crafts and activities for guests of all ages. Activities end at 9 p.m. with the observatory open from sunset-10 p.m. (weather permitting). Museum Members: Adults $5.00, Children FREE. Non-Members: Adults $11.00, Children $7.00.
