South Florida – Sept. 24, 2012 – BRIO Tuscan Grille South Florida locations are introducing a harvest of delicious dishes on their new fall menu starting Tuesday, Sept. 25. After many requests from loyal guests, BRIO is also excited to offer a Gluten Friendly menu with several entrée options. BRIO locations in South Florida are at The Village at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, The Shops at Pembroke Gardens in Pembroke Pines, The Shops at Boca Center in Boca Raton, and The Gardens Mall in PalmBeach Gardens.
BRIO’s fall menu includes delectable new dishes for both lunch and dinner. New items available during lunch only are the Braised Beef & White Cheddar Panini with balsamic onions, peperoncini and creamy horseradish, served with housemade chips ($11.75), and the Grilled Mahi Mahi Sandwich with tomatoes, Tuscan slaw and charred tomato remoulade, served with wild rice grain salad ($11.95).
A great start to any meal is one of BRIO’s flavorful new appetizers. Available during lunch and dinner, guests will enjoy the new Crab & Shrimp Fonduta, bubbling hot and creamy, with Parmesan crisps for dipping ($8.95 for lunch and $10.95 for dinner); Tomato Mozzarella Capri Insalata, Kumato tomatoes and fresh mozzarella with field greens, lemon vinaigrette, basil and balsamic glaze ($7.95 for lunch and dinner); Antipasti Bruschetta, fresh Mozzarella, pepperoni, diced tomatoes, Kalamata olives, peperoncini and red wine vinaigrette ($10.75 for lunch and $10.95 for dinner); and Pepperoni & Sausage Pizzetta with Mozzarella, Ricotta and BRIO’s housemade tomato sauce ($6.75 for lunch and $6.95 for dinner).
For the main course at lunch or dinner, guests can enjoy the Caesar Grande Salad, Romaine tossed with Parmigiano-Reggiano, toasted Brioche croutons and housemade Caesar dressing ($8.95 for lunch and$9.50 for dinner) – add chicken breast ($2.99), add salmon ($4.50); and Fettuccine Campania, fresh egg fettuccine tossed with marinara, capers, Kalamata olives, basil, and Parmesan ($9.95 for lunch and $11.95 for dinner).
Offered during dinner only are new grill creations like the light Mahi Mahi Fresca with farro, spinach and a tomato basil vinaigrette ($17.50), and for steak lovers the new 5 oz. Filetto Di Romano, beef tenderloin served on a crispy Romano tomatowith garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables ($19.95) is just the right size so there is still room for dessert.
Tocater to the millions of Americans who are adopting a gluten free diet, BRIO has unveiled its Gluten Friendly menu. Developed by BRIO Executive Chef Phil Yandolino in coordination with the Gluten Free Association, the Gluten Friendly menu offers the delicious, authentic northern Italian cuisine with the highest quality, freshest ingredients for which BRIO is known.
Gluten Friendly menu items are BRIO ChoppedSalad, chopped greens with tomatoes, black olives, onions, cucumber, Feta and Italian vinaigrette ($4.95); Caesar Salad, chopped Romaine hearts with housemade Caesar dressing and Parmigiano Romano cheese ($4.95), Salmon Griglia Salad with mixed greens with Roma tomatoes, asparagus, Feta and a lemonvinaigrette ($14.95); Pasta Pomodoro, gluten free penne tossed with grilled chicken, tomatoes, pine nuts, and a pesto drizzle ($15.95); Pasta BRIO, gluten free penne tossed with chicken, seared mushrooms and a red pepper sauce ($15.95); Pasta Primavera, gluten free penne tossed with mushrooms, spinach, Roma tomatoes, garlic and Feta cheese ($14.95); Chicken Griglia, grilled chickentopped with housemade Limone caper sauce, served with roasted vegetables and gluten free Penne Pomodoro ($18.25); Filetto Di Manzo Toscano, 8 oz. center-cut filet, perfectly seasoned and grilled to order, served with roasted vegetables and gluten free Penne Pomodoro ($27.95); and Salmon Griglia, grilled and marinated, topped with BRIO’s housemade Limone sauce, served with roasted vegetables and gluten free Penne Pomodoro ($20.95).
BRIO is also inviting guests to sit back and enjoy its new Tuscan Tasters bar bites menu additions and $5 weekday drink specials.
The popular $3.95 Tuscan Tasters bar menu, which provides small tastes of Tuscan cuisine, offers exciting new additions including Tomato & Mozzarella Capri, sliced Kumato tomatoes, fresh Mozzarella and basil, served with a balsamic glaze and field greens; and brought back by popular demand, Shrimptini, featuring chilled shrimp in a martini glass with classic cocktail sauce and flaxseed cracker. Additional savory items on the Tuscan Tasters menu include Beef Carpaccio, Margherita Flatbread, Sausage & Pepperoni Flatbread, Crispy Shrimp Piccante, BRIO Burger, Ravioli Caprese, Spicy Shrimp & Eggplant, and Roasted Garlic, Spinach & Artichoke Dip.
The Tuscan Tasters bar menu is featured in the bar area only at The Village at Gulfstream Park, The Shops at Pembroke Gardens in Pembroke Pines and The Shops at Boca Center locations every Monday–Friday from 3–6:30 p.m. and Monday–Thursday 9 p.m.–close. Guests can also enjoy BRIO’s refreshing $5 drink specials on select spritzers, wines, sangria, martinis and mojitos. The specials are available Monday–Friday during Tuscan Taster bar menu times. Joining the $5 drink specials is the classic Italian Happy Hour cocktail, Aperol Spritz. Also offered for $5 per glass are Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Rosso wines handcrafted by Sartori di Verona Winery in the Veneto region of Italy, and housemade Sangria Rosa and White Peach Sangria. BRIO’s $5 martinis are Cosmo Classico, Pomegranate Cosmo, Black Raspberry Cosmo and Martini Classico, and $5 mojitos are Mojito Classico, Mango Mojito and Strawberry Mojito. Drink specials are offered where legallyavailable during select times.
