Nationally Heralded Group Highlights 30 Years of Putting Politics and Scandal to Music

(West Palm Beach-March 1, 2013) Politicians beware! The political parody masters Capitol Steps are returning to the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts for a three-week run March 12-24. Featuring musical sketches with titles like You Just Can’t Hide this Biden Guy, Super Congress Debt Committee and the infamous Lirty Dies, the Capitol Steps’ new album Take the Money and Run- for President leaves no political party, scandal or world event from 2012 unsung.

Capitol Steps, a singing and dancing group composed of many former Senate staffers, has been putting the “mock in Democracy” for 30 years.  Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded over 30 albums. They’ve been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard 4 times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.
