This evening is a chance for artists and art lovers to hear about the exciting new offerings that the Wellington Art Society has planned for the coming year. Fabulous artwork is on display in the Society’s exhibit space at the Wellington City Hall and the Wellington Community Center. These original works are available for sale and are rotated quarterly. The art society also has ongoing exhibitions at the Wellington Whole Foods that feature art society members for a three month long show.

Members are asked to bring one piece of art that they created over the summer.
There will a raffle with fabulous items perfect for artists and art lovers, which is open to all attendees.
The general meeting begins at 7:00PM when the year’s events will be discussed, which includes calls to artists, exciting demonstrations by well-known artists, exhibit opportunities, gallery tours, and outreach to create an even better art community.
The presentation for the first meeting will be by JB Berkow. At the age of 26, Berkow founded the cooperative gallery in Washington, DC, Touchstone Gallery. She also founded Frenchman’s Art Gallery and Studio, Inc. and in 2003, Rosetta Stone Fine Art Gallery in Jupiter. She has always felt a strong need to mentor and promote other artists.
