(PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.)   Hanley Center Foundation’s 16th annual Golf Classic took place at the prestigious Old Marsh Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens on Monday, March 30.  The picturesque venue served as a backdrop for the 18-hole tournament, awards ceremony, luncheon and silent auction – all to benefit Hanley Center Foundation’s Lifesaver Patient Aid Fund.

Hanley Center Foundation provides scholarships for patients who could not otherwise afford addiction treatment. In addition, the Foundation supports substance abuse prevention and education programs for parents, caregivers and school-age children.  Proceeds from the 16th annual Golf Classic benefitted the Lifesaver Patient Aid Fund, which provides scholarship assistance to support people who want help, but need financial assistance.

“Today’s event is critical because many people hesitate to get the help they need due to financial circumstances,” said Dr. Rachel Docekal, Hanley Center Foundation CEO.  “Through Hanley Center Foundation’s fundraising efforts, people receive quality treatment thanks to this special fund.  Participation in the Golf Classic gives hope to patients and their families. We would like to give special thanks to our chairs and committee for recognizing the need for this assistance in our local community. Your efforts ensure that more people can receive access to the quality care they deserve.”
