Music for the Mind Presents… David Crohan “Mozart and the Movies”

MozartWithout sight since infancy, David Crohan became a wizard at the piano. His uncanny talent, wit and versatility make him the consummate entertainer. As one of the most versatile pianists performing today, David crosses the traditional boundaries between classical and jazz music with ease and sophistication. His performances have aroused admiration throughout the country.

Proceeds will benefit the Lighthouse for the Blind’s children’s Learning Independence Through Experience (LITE) Club, which offers year-round activities for children ages 6-13 who are blind or visually impaired.

The Music for the Mind concerts are held on the third Tuesday of every month in the Harriet Himmel Theater at CityPlace. Each concert presents a different musical group from local area schools and community organizations. Since its inception in 2002, the Music for the Mind concert series has given almost 11,000 young musicians the opportunity to perform and has raised over $550,000 to help keep music in our community.
