The Body Deli Announces New Giving Green Program

WEST PALM BEACH, FL FEBRUARY 11, 2010: The Body Deli is pleased to announce their new Giving Green Program designed to assist non-profit organizations with their current fundraising efforts via online donations generated by the purchase of Body Deli products.

The Body Deli has been a part of the Southern California business landscape for over nine years and has customers throughout the U.S. and internationally. The Body Deli is an innovator in the organic and natural cosmetics skin care industry. Their product line has been developed with an emphasis on an inside/outside nutritional approach to beauty and wellness. This exciting new program will allow The Body Deli to partner with key organizations, to help further efforts that are providing so many benefits for people and communities throughout the country.

The program’s goal is to plant the seeds that raise awareness for non-profit organizations and the important work that they do. The Body Deli shares a passion with these organizations in creating ideas, products and services that improve lives and benefits the planet. As Body Deli co-owners David Parker and Margaret Skarin have said, “One of our core beliefs is that giving back is the only way we can all grow and make our world a greener place.”

As a result, they have invested considerably in a technological platform and have created an innovative program for non-profit organizations. This will enable these organizations to easily raise funds by tapping into the power of the internet and capitalize on revenue generated via online shopping.

To further advance their vision to bring this program to life in the Southern Florida area, the Body Deli has partnered with local marketing specialists Steve and Ilyse August to head up this program in Florida. Their goal is to bring awareness to and coordinate specific fundraising initiatives with local non-profit organizations in this region. Bringing a wealth of sales and marketing expertise to this venture, Steve and Ilyse have significant experience working with the non-profit community as well as having a diverse background in setting up distribution of skin & body care products as well as nutritional products both domestically & internationally.
