Parents are encouraged to bring their own “minions” down to the Waterfront in advance of this month’s feature film, Despicable Me 3. Rhythm & Hues, a local children’s creativity center, is sponsoring a make-and-take Despicable Me craft. Unlike the identity crisis Gru will face in the film, there is nothing two-faced about this free and fun opportunity!

After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the latest bad guy to threaten humanity, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis. But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother – a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps – one former super-villain will rediscover just how good it feels to be bad.
Outdoor movie watching has never been more inviting than on the West Palm Beach Waterfront. Monthly, on the second Friday of the month, the City of West Palm Beach turns the Great Lawn into an open-air theater – movie and included views of the stars and sea are both FREE. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and snuggle up for featured films – including newly released hits and throwback favorites.
