(Delray Beach, FL – September 16, 2025) – Ready, set, bake! The Delray Beach Public Library is bringing back its sweetest tradition – The Very Berry Bake-Off – on Saturday, September 27 at 1 p.m. at the Library, located at 100 West Atlantic Avenue.
Last year’s bake-off went coconut crazy—this year, it’s all about the berries. Don’t miss the chance to taste, vote, and cheer on our community’s best bakers in this fun-filled, flavorful showdown.
Whether you’re a pie pro, a cake connoisseur, or a muffin magician, this is your chance to show off your berry best. Entries may include pies, bars, cakes, crumbles, muffins, scones, and more – as long as they feature berries (of any kind.)
The public is invited to attend the event on September 27th and vote for the People’s Choice Award. There will also be cooking demonstrations, giveaways and food samples.
The Prizes:
· 1st Place: $100 City Oyster gift card
· 2nd Place: $50 City Oyster gift card
· 3rd Place: A beautiful gift basket courtesy of the Delray Beach Historical Society
Plus, the crowd gets to vote for a People’s Choice Award – so bring your cheering section!
The Judges:
· Chef Jordan Stilley (City Oyster)
· Winnie Duggans Edwards (Delray Beach Historical Society)
· Joycelyn Patrick (Delray Beach Library Board President)
· Christina Morrison (Commercial Realtor & Property Consultant)
Special Feature: A live cooking demo by Space of Mind’s Chef will spice things up before the audience samples every last delicious entry.
