The 1st Annual FL Lil’ Picasso Art for Autism

The Lil’ Picasso Arts Foundation, The Palm Beach Autism Society of America and The Extra-Ordinary Empowerment Network present The 1st Annual Florida Lil’ Picasso Art for Autism “Paint-A-Thon.”

The Paint-a-Thon will kick off the Florida State Lil’ Picasso Art For Autism art contest which will gather hand-painted art work from kids 2 to 18 who have autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). All the work gathered from the artists in this statewide contest will be published later for distribution to specific special needs communities and nationally with portions of proceeds going to Autism and the Arts.

The benefit is being sponsored by Picasso’s Paint Your Own Pottery and will be a day of fun, friends and of course PAINTING! There will be activities for kids, food and a raffle giveaway!

Donations from pottery painted that day at Picasso’s by people in support of this cause will go to Autism and The Lil’ Picasso Arts Foundation. Kids who have ASD will be able to paint pictures for the “Paint-A-Thon.” So bring the family, paint a piece of pottery for autism awareness — and support the arts at the same time!

When: Sunday, May 22, 2011; noon to 4 p.m.

Where: Picasso’s Paint-Your-Own-Pottery (SW Corner of Jog and Lantana in Lake Worth)
