(Delray Beach, FL – March 29, 2011) Cathy Balestriere, general manager of Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel & Tiki Bar, today announced that the popular, Key West-style boutique hotel is launching its second annual series of THIRD THURSDAY FUN-RAISERS to benefit local nonprofit organizations.
Each event will be held on the third Thursday of each month from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the 625-square foot poolside Tiki Bar at Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel, which is located at 82 Gleason Street in Delray Beach, just one block south of Atlantic Avenue and one block west of the Atlantic Ocean.

April 21
THE GREEN M&Ms PARTY
On behalf of the Young Friends of the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation, which champions the restoration and preservation of the greater Everglades ecosystem, and the Friends of Mounts Botanical Garden, Palm Beach County’s oldest and largest public garden. This is the second annual Green M&Ms Party at Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel.

OFF STAGE CAST PARTY
On behalf of the Caldwell Theatre in Boca Raton, the longest running regional theatre in Florida, and Entr’Acte Theatrix, a recent offshoot of Palm Beach Principal Players, which provides professional performing opportunities for emerging young talents.
June 17
JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION
On behalf of the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum in Delray Beach, honoring the oldest known commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. This is the Spady Museum’s second annual Juneteenth Celebration at Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel.
July 15
PR YAK-YAK
On behalf of the Gold Coast Public Relations Council and PRSA – Palm Beach, This will be the fifth annual PR YAK-YAK party that attracts numerous public relations and marketing professionals as well as local print, broadcast and online journalists.

CULTURE CRUSH
On behalf of Arts Radio Network, a website dedicated to South Florida’s vibrant arts and entertainment community. Currently featuring podcasts of interviews from WXEL’s South Florida Artsview and Listening to Movies, ARN will be expanding to provide innovative new programming.

On behalf of Genesis Community Health, a faith-based nonprofit primary care organization that provides accessible, affordable and quality service in Boynton Beach, and United Cerebral Palsy of Palm Beach & Mid-Coast Counties, which serves more than 1,300 infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities at over 60 locations in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

On behalf of Old School Square Cultural Arts Center, an award-winning facility in downtown Delray Beach that includes the Cornell Museum of Art and American Culture and the Crest Theatre, as well as historic classrooms, a vintage gymnasium and an outdoor entertainment pavilion.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
On behalf of Project Holiday, a communitywide effort by the City of Delray’s You Are Not Alone and the Church of the Palms. Attendees are encouraged to bring much-needed items that will be shipped to American soldiers serving overseas. This will be the fourth time that Crane’s BeachHouse Hotel has hosted this annual event.
All eight of the THIRD THURSDAY FUN-RAISERS are open to the public. Admission is only $25 per person. Attendees will each receive one free drink ticket good for beer, wine or frozen drinks; additional drinks will be available at happy hour prices. Crane’s will also provide an array of amazing hors d’oeuvres and summertime munchies.
