Free “Songwriter’s Showcase”

WEI Network and “Peter’s Living Room,” in conjunction with Wellington Dental, and The Village of Wellington are presenting a Free “Songwriter’s Showcase” Sunday, March 6th, 2011 from noon to 4 pm. This will be an afternoon of excellent folk music performed by very talented, highly acclaimed musicians/singers from all over Florida and the U.S. Even Grammy Nominees have performed at these series. The April show line-up will include Al Scortino, Jordan Cherkinsky (Host and Accompanist), Shauna Sweeney, Rick Seguso, Yaakov Thompson, Bobby G, Mary Beth Campbell, and Chris Campbell. Acoustic guitars will be prevalent as these artists share their toe tapping original songs and include favorites from other artists. Please note that these shows occur the first Sunday of each month. There is ample parking, clean restrooms, and a children’s playground on premises.
Gather up your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Bring seating or throw down blankets on the grass; bring coolers for munchies and drinks. Food vendors will be available at a nominal cost.
