Events are held at 2635 State Road 7, in the Lifestyle Center and are free of charge unless otherwise noted.  Register by phone at 561.904.4000 or at the customer service desk. Refunds, credits, or transfer of classes will not be honored for no-shows or cancellations made fewer than 24 hours before event. All events are subject to change.  Classes with low registration may be cancelled.  Any classes cancelled by Whole Foods Market will be refunded. Space is limited.

Join us for our first mingle in support of local agriculture!  Meet like-minded neighborhood friends while enjoying appetizers made with only the highest quality local ingredients.  We will be featuring Swank Farm Specialty Produce, our first CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) partner and will have an information table about the CSA program.  Appetizers will be prepared by, local supporting Chef Dak of Pizzeria Oceano, and paired with an eco-friendly wine tasting as well as live music.  $5 donation per person will be accepted at the event entrance in the back of the café.  100% of the proceeds will go to Slow Foods Glades to Coast.

5% Day Benefiting Palm Beach Soil & Water Conservation

Tuesday, April 26th 8am-10pm

Shop on this day at Whole Foods Market Boca Raton or Wellington and we will donate 5% of the net sales to the PB Soil & Water Conservation District, a local nonprofit organization that provides environmental educational services to students, assists local farmers and agriculture, and ensures water conservation.  The funds will go directly to supporting the 2012 Palm Beach Envirothon which is a competitive, problem-solving, natural resource event for local high school students.   For more information, please visit www.pbswcd.org.

10:00am-8:00pm: Stop by the PB Soil & Water Conservation District information table and take the Envirothon quiz on environmental issues that are affecting our county.  If you get all 5 questions right you will receive a recycled reusable shopping bag.

5:30-7:00pm– Local Block Party and Envirothon Quiz: Enjoy free samples around the store with some of our favorite local products and vote for your favorite dish.  Also, be sure to test your environmental knowledge and take the Envirothon quiz on the back of the ballots.  If you get all 5 questions correct, you will receive a recycled reusable shopping bag.  Ballots & Envirothon Quizzes will be given out and collected at the PB Soil & Water Conservation table.

 

 

Yoga for Kids by Moksha Yoga Studio, Ages 4-9 yrs. old

Join Moksha Yoga Studio for a fun filled yoga class for kids!  Your child will participate in playful yoga movements that are fun and easy.  Classes will improve children’s strength, flexibility, and coordination using traditional and animal yoga poses.  Yoga mats will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
