Celebrate Earth Day with Free Giveaways at the Wellington Amphitheater
Join Wellington in celebrating Earth Day and Arbor Day on Sunday, April 22nd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Wellington Amphitheater located at 12100 Forest Hill Boulevard. The first 250 guests will receive free samples of smoothies and reusable bags! In addition, Smokey the Bear will make a visit, and free samples of seedlings and wildflower seeds will be distributed.
This exciting, family-friendly event will feature live demonstrations, including a skit by Palm Beach Central High School’s Environmental Club at 4:15 pm; a demonstration by Whole Foods Market at 4:30 pm; a performance by the Binks Forest Elementary School Chorus at 5:00 pm; a demonstration about honeybees and the environment at 5:30 pm; and a presentation about greening your barn at 6:00 pm.
Residents are also invited to browse through informational booths highlighting the Wellington Garden Club, Whole Foods Market, Bruce’s Ghost Peppers, the Solid Waste Authority, Resource Depot, Pine Jog Environmental Center, the Wellington Tree Board, and the H.L. Johnson Green Team. This event is made possible by our sponsors, Whole Foods Market and Jet Hauling, Inc.
