Events are held at 2635 State Road 7, in the Lifestyle Center and are free of charge unless otherwise noted. Pre-Register for events @ at the customer service desk or by phone (561-904-4000) for Free Classes Only. Refunds, credits, or transfer of classes will not be honored for no-shows or cancellations made fewer than 24 hours before event. All events are subject to change. Classes with low registration may be cancelled.  Any classes cancelled by Whole Foods Market will be refunded. Space is limited.

Meatless Monday Sampling

Every Monday in April at the Health Starts Here Station 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Free

Did you know you can start your week on a healthy note, reduce your carbon footprint by at least 8 pounds, and save half a gallon of gasoline with just one meal? Yup, Meatless Mondays are officially here and our Healthy Eating & Green Mission Specialist, Amanda, wants to show you some tricks of the trade.  No registration necessary, just stop on by.

Gluten Free Cooking: Food of the Earth

April is Earth Month and to help celebrate our planet, Chef Joe will demonstrates how to prepare Pumpkin Seed Pesto, Bean Salad with Quinoa, and Kale, Mushroom, and Tomato Sauté with Polenta, all fresh, “from the earth” ingredients.  All participants will taste these amazing dishes and learn what our Planet Earth has to offer.  NOTE: Recipes are based on availability of ingredients and may change.  Also, all ingredients used are gluten-free; however, our facility is not certified gluten free. 

Kids’ Club: Earthling Cookie Decorating

As earthlings, we have our own ideas of what an alien looks like. In this class for kids ages 6-12, we will have a variety of Earth inspired colored frostings for kids to create their own alien to take home. Join Suzanne, Lifestyle Center Specialist, any time between 2:30 and 4:00 in our Lifestyle Center to make and take home your own alien. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be pre-registered.

Celebrate spring with Suzanne Redmond, Lifestyle Center Specialist as she teaches you to make two salads fresh from the garden, including herb-inspired dressing recipes fresh baked zucchini muffins. Recipes include: Edamame and Pecorino Salad; Wild Rice Salad with Dried Cranberries; and Incredibly Moist Zucchini Muffins.  Perfect for any spring lunch with friends or just for you!  Class will be held in the lifestyle center.

Local Artist Celebration: Ursula Fernandez

Meet our current Wellington Art Society local artist, Ursula Fernandez, and join us as we celebrate her beautiful paintings that are inspired by Florida endangered species.  Participants will enjoy live music, wine and cheese tasting and small bites from our Catering Menu.  One hundred percent of the event entrance fees will benefit the Wellington Art Society Scholarship Fund. Cash donations will also be accepted at the entrance.

Mango de Mayo Block Party!

Taste your way around the store while you shop and vote for your favorite sample!  Each team will be making unique dishes featuring mangos!  Voting ballots will be available in the produce department and at each register.  No registration necessary, just come on by!

Flavors of Wellington

Friday, April 5, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., $25 – $30/person

Join us at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Festival for the 10th annual Flavors Wellington Food and Wine Festival. Over two dozen restaurants and food vendors, including your favorite natural foods store, Whole Foods Market, will create flavorful offerings for you to taste and enjoy. $25 tickets can be purchased until April at www.flavorswellington.com. Tickets are $30 the day of the event. 

Green Mission Beach Cleanup
