Dear American Cancer Society Supporter:
Thank you for your interest in sponsoring the American Cancer’s Society’s 2013 Relay For Life of Wellington. Each year this incredible event allows our local community to come together to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back.
Survivors are recognized when they and their caregivers take that first lap and during the following special reception and dinner. Later we honor those who are still fighting and remember those we have lost during the powerful Luminaria Ceremony. Funds raised by the teams help the American Cancer Society in its mission to reduce the incidence of cancer, reduce the number of deaths from cancer and diminish the suffering of cancer patients. We are making progress, with the help of the whole community!
Relay For Life of Wellington will be held April 6th and 7th, 2013 at Wellington High School. Teams will form and fundraise for months, then set their campsites up for the 18 hour (through the night) Relay. At least one person from each team will be walking the track all the time and games, activities, food and music will keep everyone enthused and excited. By morning, during the closing ceremony, teams will be tired but happy—another successful Relay For Life!
Support from our sponsors is an important part of delivering the Relay experience. We’d like to ask you to consider the information supplied in this package in hopes that you will be able to contribute toward this important local event and support the ACS mission. Our goal this year is to have over 30 teams and raise more than $45,000. We need your support.
