WHAT: South Florida Science Center’s Annual Stroller Daze
Calling all parents with small children… bring your baby Einsteins to the South Florida Science Center for the annual Stroller Daze event! Parents with children ages birth to 4 years are invited to participate in fun-filled and age-appropriate activities. Activities include: storytelling, crafts, a child-friendly planetarium show, touch-tank demonstrations, science demos and much more! Special guest Patty Shukla, well-known for her children’s songs, will be performing, and Professor Clark the Science Shark will make a special guest appearance. Child friendly vendors, including Big Fish Little Fish Swim School, PB Parenting and Macaroni Kid, will be at the Science Center for presentations, demonstrations, and raffle giveaways.
Preschool teachers, book your programs on this day and receive $25 OFF your total field trip, and no charge for chaperones.

HOW MUCH: $5 for adults; FREE for kids and members
WHY: The mission of the SouthFloridaScienceCenter and Aquarium (SFSCA) is to open every mind to science through the strategic programming of interactive exhibits, engaging community-based camps and events. Founded in 1959 and formerly known as the South Florida Science Museum, the new SFSCA features more than 50 hands-on educational exhibits, an 8,000 gallon fresh and salt water aquarium featuring both local and exotic marine life, a digital planetarium, Conservation Research Station, Florida Exhibit Hall and an interactive Everglades Exhibit showcasing the richly diverse ecosystem that the Everglades water-environment supports. The SouthFloridaScienceCenter is located at 4801 Dreher Trail North, West Palm Beach. Effective August 12, 2013, the ScienceCenter is open Monday – Friday from 9am-5pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm. General admission to the ScienceCenter is $13.50 for adults, $10.00 for children three and up, and $12.00 for seniors 62+. ScienceCenter members and children under three are free. Planetarium shows and miniature golf are not included in general admission.
