The Mall at Wellington Green hosts Back to School events this weekend
Shoppers can earn money for their school through Wellington Green Gives Back to Schools
WELLINGTON, Fla., July 30, 2014 –The Mall at Wellington Green will host its first annual Wellington Green Gives Back to Schools, a Back-to-School program beginning August 1st. The shopping center will give back to the community with help from its shoppers. Shoppers will earn money for the school of their choice by simply registering their receipts at the Guest Services desk. Every dollar spent from Friday, August 1st through Monday, August 18th is a point earned for the school of their choice. The top three schools with the most points after August 18th will receive cash donations of $2,500, $1,500 or $1,000 from The Mall at Wellington Green.
Shoppers will also want to take advantage of the Florida tax free holiday this weekend – August 1st to August 3rd. A list of tax-free eligible items will be available at the Guest Services desk.
To add to the excitement, on Saturday, August 2nd from 11 am to 3 pm the center will host other back to school activities too:
Clear Channel radio representatives from WILD 95.5 and MIA 92.1 will be visiting from 12 noon to 3 pm and giving away prizes including four $100 Mall at Wellington Green American Express® Gift Cards, movie passes and more.
Schumacher Auto Group will also be hosting a Subaru Test Drive Event from 11 am to 3 pm at the Food Court entrance of The Mall at Wellington Green. Shoppers can test drive a vehicle from the Schumacher 2015 Subaru line up and receive a $20 Mall at Wellington Green American Express® Gift Card in return.
Schumacher Subaru and Macy’s will also be conducting a Back to School Pack for School Event from 1 pm to 3 pm in Grand Court, where shoppers can pack a Subaru Outback with college dorm essentials from Macy’s and get registered for their chance to win the dorm pack, a Mall at Wellington Green American Express® Gift Card and a Schumacher prize pack.
