Calling all Superheroes! — South Florida Fair seeks to set record to challenge other fairs
West Palm Beach, Fla. — The 2019 South Florida Fair — with its “Not All Superheroes Wear Capes” theme — is seeking to establish a record of “Most People Dressed As Superheroes at a Fair.” The fair is calling on the public to participate by wearing their favorite superhero attire so it can then challenge fairs across the country. Participation is free. The first 500 qualified “superheroes” get a free fair admission and ride wristband (valid only on that day, Thursday, January 17 during Ride-A-Thon night) to get in the fair and ride the rides after the attempt has been recorded.
“Whether it’s a purchased or homemade costume, we’d love to see it,” said COO and Vice President Vicki Chouris. “Let’s show the world that superheroes are for everyone!”
