#DebtCollectorsCareToo

Campaign Launched to Help Consumers

West Palm Beach, FL — Most collection calls are not from aggressive agencies, and the implications that all are the same is the mindset that leads many consumers to fear-driven failure to communicate.  #DebtCollectorsCareToo is a brand new series of PSA videos targeted to consumers to help them understand how debt collectors can actually help them.  The PSAs are hoping to remove the stigma that all calls are aggressive and to advise the consumer options do exist, especially during this critical time.

A growing number of the country’s workforce is currently unemployed and requiring assistance and assurance that there will be a path forward. There are also those who are still employed but with reduced income and a shift in priorities towards where their income will be allocated to help them survive this. All consumers may need understanding at some point.

“Allowing debts to remain unresolved leads to uncertainty, confusion and anxiety,” shared Melissa Nash of ARI, a consumer collection agency in West Palm Beach. “There are options though. By communicating with the creditor/agent and creating a plan we can reduce fear, minimize or reduce liabilities and allow consumers to peacefully continue with their lives.”

ARI, is leading the way by educating consumers on the need to communicate and to not be afraid to answer the phone right now.  Continued Nash, “Our agents are in very similar situations. We are all working from home, juggling life, and personally understand the unique situation and needs right now. We exist to find the right plan for each consumer.  That starts with communication”.

The series, launching today with the first in a series of short PSA’s, is designed to educate consumers on what to expect, the right questions to ask and how to navigate resolution.

“We truly hope that this helps people to understand how best to handle this situation and allows them to navigate it in a way that will be beneficial to them in the long run,” ended Nash.
