Lake Worth Downtown Cultural Alliance Wants You to Attend
‘Twas The Nightmare After Christmas
Friday, January 6, 6PM-10PM And Evening on the Avenue
The DCA (Downtown Cultural Alliance) of Lake Worth reminds you that the New Year begins with ‘Twas the Nightmare After Christmas, January 6 from 6-10 PM in the Lake Worth Cultural Plaza. This event, a frightful, wild and dramatic happening, certain to shake you to the core, rattle your timbers, delight the macabre in you and make you laugh uncontrollably, is presented by the fun-loving entities that make Lake Worth the most unique destination in the county. Never at a loss for an adventurous and outrageous party and presentation, the Lake Worth family has designed an interactive evening you may never forget.
The sponsors have gone all out to make this destination scary, outrageous and entertaining. The Lake Worth CRA, and the City enlisted the creative talents of the Lake Worth Playhouse, COMPASS, WEMERGE, Theatrics, Studio205, Rock-N-Faces and Craig, All Things Creative to develop that magic brew that casts a mist over the downtown and enchants all who are drawn into it. From this mist will emerge the Drag Show, Food, Crafts, Music, Jack Skellington and Sally. Don’t forget the after party at South Shore.
Farther down the street Evening on the Avenue will be taking place. Wend your way through town visiting shops and restaurants before you get sucked into the frightening morass of the Nightmare. Steel yourself with bits and pieces of culture found throughout the Downtown before you are lost forever. The musicians, entertainers, arts, food and humanities of the Lake Worth Streets will be there for you to escape to when your evening of Fright in the Plaza is over.
The Downtown Cultural Alliance (DCA) is a non-profit association of Downtown merchants and residents working together to keep Downtown Lake Worth vibrant and welcoming.
