West Palm Beach, FL – The Palm Beach Zoo has announced a celebration of Leap Day to be held on Wednesday, February 29th.  The event will feature all of the zoo animals that leap or hop including red kangaroos, wallabies, and frogs.

The zoo’s yellow-footed rock wallabies have recently produced “joeys” (baby wallabies) that can often be seen popping out of their mother’s pouch.

Children can take part in a special scavenger hunt throughout the zoo for the chance to be entered to win a Palm Beach Zoo Annual Membership good for the whole family for a full year.

For more information about this event call (561) 547-WILD (9453) ext. 223 or visit www.palmbeachzoo.org – Events.
