(Lake Worth Beach, FL) – November 13, 2024 – On November 8, 2024, inSIGHT Through Education extended heartfelt gratitude to Florida legislators Senator Lori Berman and Representative Peggy Gossett-Seidman, as well as representatives from Alpert Jewish Family Service and Rales Jewish Family Services, for their instrumental support in securing funding to expand the Hate Ends Now: Cattle Car Exhibit. This exhibit – a replica WWII cattle car that serves as a traveling classroom – provides an immersive, impactful Holocaust education experience for students and the community.
The $165,000 award from the State of Florida marks a significant investment in Holocaust education, allowing inSIGHT to double the program’s reach in the 2024-2025 school year. With this expansion, the Cattle Car Exhibit will visit 30 Palm Beach County schools and impacting nearly 18,000 students with this powerful educational experience.
inSIGHT values its partnership with Alpert Jewish Family Service and Rales Jewish Family Services, whose leaders recognized the program’s impact and played a pivotal role in championing the funding process. Together, these organizations expressed deep gratitude to the legislators for their crucial role in securing this essential support and underscored the urgent need for such impactful educational programs in today’s world.
