Dinosaurs Attack South Florida Science Museum
Next week dinosaurs will invade the South Florida Science Museum. On Friday, January 27th, the Museum will open its newest traveling exhibit “Dinosaur Attack.” The exhibit will be on display through May 13. Opening night will feature Dino Roar Nights at the Museum from 6 to 9 p.m.

Dinosaurs will invade the South Florida Science Museum from January 27 through May 13. Come face-to-face with 70 million-year-old dinosaurs through this hands-on, interactive exhibit. Guests can touch a real, 70 million-year-old dinosaur bone, dig for fossils in the Museum’s dig pit and see how paleontologists discover dinosaurs with field techniques and tools that are still in use today. Throughout the exhibit, free weekend presentations will be given by local dinosaur hunters Robert DePalma and Rudy Pascucci who have returned from field digs in South Dakota and Montana . The exhibit will feature a juvenile t-rex, triceratops, sinovenator, raptors and other exotic creatures with lots of hands-on dinosaur fun!

Museum hours: Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sunday noon – 6 p.m.
Museum admission: Adults $11.95; Seniors 62+ $10.45; and children ages three-12 $8.95, under three years and Museum members are free.

Roam around with the dinosaurs after hours at Dino Roar Nights at the Museum. Guests can come face-to-face with and touch a real, 70 million-year-old dinosaur bone, dig for fossils in the Museum’s dig pit, see the tools and techniques used today by paleontologists to discover dinosaurs, and hear from local dinosaur hunters Robert DePalma and Rudy Pascucci who will instruct guests on how to dig up dinosaurs with a presentation and slideshow. The evening will also feature shark petting, science labs, crafts and lots of hands-on dino fun!

Nights at the Museum Admission: Museum Members: Adults $5.00, Children FREE. Non-members: Adults $11.00, Children $7.00. Children under three are FREE.. Planetarium shows and miniature golf are not included with admission.
