South Florida Fair Opens This Friday
— Sneak Ride-A-Thon preview Thursday

The South Florida Fair will open its 101st edition this Friday with opening ceremonies and a preview Ride-A-Thon the night before.
When:
On Thurs, Jan. 17, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Fair will feature a Ride-A-Thon where guests pay just $10 with a coupon from www.southfloridafair.com to enjoy the rides and a fireworks display. Only the midway is open. The buildings and attractions will open the next morning at 11 a.m. on Jan. 18. Opening ceremonies will take place at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free for everyone attending the ceremonies. Those who use an advance admission ticket on opening day will be able to return another day for free. Advance tickets are on sale through Jan. 17.

The South Florida Fair, 9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach. Opening ceremonies will take place at the Ford Theatre in Expo West.
