Start with the Y” Breakfast Series
The YWCA of Palm Beach County will host the second in a series of four “Start with the Y” breakfasts on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, 7:30 a.m., at the Airport HiltonConference Center, 150 Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach.
In recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, this event features a panel discussion on racial justice obstacles in Palm Beach County over the years through the eyes of local intergenerational women: Dr. Catherine Lowe, MD, PA; Chrichet Mixon, Office of the State Attorney; and Ethel Isaacs Williams, Florida Power & Light. Alexcia Cox, Esq., will serve as moderator.
A special attraction will be an exhibit from the collection of Ineria Hudnel, “a keeper of local black history.”
Tickets are $25 per person, a table of 10 is $250, and a Friend of the YWCA is $50.
