Wellington to Host Budget Challenge Sessions
If you live, work, or play in Wellington, here is your chance to have your voice heard about how your tax dollars should be spent. Wellington is hosting several Budget Challenge sessions throughout the day on Friday, August 3rd at the Wellington Community Center located at 12150 Forest Hill Boulevard. Each session is limited to the first 100 registrants.
“The Budget Challenge will help Wellington set its funding priorities for the next fiscal year and will help us create a balanced budget that reflects the community’s values,” said Financial Management and Budget Director Mireya McIlveen. “We want to know not only what programs and services our residents need, want, and are willing to pay for but also what we could do without.”
Four sessions are scheduled for members of the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce, Village Board and Committee members, Wellington sports providers, seniors, and the general public.
