1. This evening, Monday July 22 at 6:30 PM, the Urban League Young Professionals of PB County will host a discussion with Reps. Bobby Powell, Mark Pafford and Dave Kerner. It is open to the public. See https://www.facebook.com/events/120273261476744/.

Directions: I-95 to Palm BeachLakes, exit east. In 1 1/2 miles turn left (north) onto Australian Avenue. Continue 1/2 mile to Urban League which is between 15 St and 25 St. on the right.
2. Also tonight, Monday, July 22, a free bus ride is being offered for those interested in joining the Dream Defenders for the Dream-In in Tallahassee — the purpose is to call for Gov. Rick Scott to convene a special session of the legislature to enact the Trayvon Martin City Rights Act that would repeal Stand Your Ground, ban racial profiling, and end the school-to-prison pipeline. FREE ride offered from Palm BeachCounty. The bus will be leaving from Palm Beach on Monday at 10pm to arrive at the Capitol on Tuesday at 8am, and will be returning to South Florida Wednesday in the afternoon.

3. On Sunday July 28, 7:30 PM, Trayvon Martin’s father will address a Community Rally at Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church, 1273 West 30St. (just east of Avenue O,) Riviera Beach.
Directions: I-95 to Blue Heron Blvd, exit east, in 2 miles turn left (north) onto Old Dixie Hwy, in 0.3 miles turn left (west) onto 30 St for about 3 blocks.
