Each day includes a fun mix of staff-led projects and age-appropriate free play and experimentation in a variety of themes, including collage/assemblage, sculpture, jewelry, and sewing.  Students entering kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome.

About Resource Depot

Located in West Palm Beach, Resource Depot is a nonprofit organization that provides free or below-cost materials for over 1 million educational and art projects in Palm Beach County each year. They collect and distribute discarded, surplus items from local donors—items that would have otherwise been destined for the landfill—and give them a second (or third, or even fourth) life in the hands of children, families, teachers, artists and nonprofits. To learn more about shopping, donating, student field trips and volunteer opportunities, visit www.resourcedepot.net or call (561) 882-0090.

Resource Depot is a Palm Beach County nonprofit that distributes learning and arts materials to local teachers, schools, parents and nonprofits for little or no cost, at great benefit to the environment as well. Founded in 1999, Resource Depot is helping to solve one problem – the rising cost of education – by meeting the challenge of another – landfill waste. They accomplish this by collecting surplus and discards from businesses and individuals in the area, and making them available to the community through membership and shopping passes. In addition to shopping their warehouse filled with items such as paper products, fabric, office supplies, books, arts and crafts materials, surplus promotional materials and more, Resource Depot offers student field trips, summer camps, and programs delivering creative arts experiences to children in local aftercare programs and to pediatric patients.
