12th Annual Deck the Palms Takes Place on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21

 

(West Palm Beach, Fla.) – ‘Tis the season for holiday shopping! The Junior League of the Palm Beaches, now in its 80th milestone year, will kick off its 12thAnnual Deck the Palms Boutique Market outdoors at the Palm Beach Outlets in West Palm Beach on Friday evening, November 20 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will continue through Saturday, November 21 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Chairs for the 2020 Deck the Palms include JLPB members Rebecca Fordham and Susan Christiansen.

 

“With the health and safety concerns associated with the present COVID-19 pandemic in mind, JLPB has re-imagined the 12th Annual Deck the Palms Boutique Market as an outdoor event with the implementation of physical distancing and safety precautions being our top priority,” said Fordham.

 

Deck the Palms Boutique Market is a shopping event that features a variety of select local and international purveyors of fine goods including jewelry, home decor, men and women’s apparel, children’s goods, artisanal foods, and more. This year’s event features a number of special ticketed opportunities including a Friday Night Kick-off Reception with a live band, V.I.P luxury lounge, and Princess and Pirate Entertainment Experience on Saturday.

 

“The safety of our guests, vendors and JLPB members is our top priority,” stated Julie Rudolph, president of JLPB, “Now more than ever it’s important to come together and help those in the community. Deck the Palms is not only a fun, holiday event, but it’s also an important fundraiser that benefits our many nonprofit partners.”

 

The Junior League of the Palm Beaches is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The nonprofit’s 700 volunteers dedicate more than 3,000 hours every year to training its members and supporting its community nonprofit partners.

This year’s Deck the Palms will have a special ticketed V.I.P access that is available for those 21 years of age and older and includes the Friday Night Kick-off Reception with a live band, access to the luxury lounge, two drink tickets, and a swag bag with vendor promotions and gifts. The V.I.P access will also include an exclusive sneak-peek opportunity to shop before the market opens to the public on Saturday, November 21 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

 

The all ages Princess and Pirate Experience includes a cast of magical characters performing live on-stage on Saturday, November 21 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with physically distanced breakfast options and craft activities included. One drink ticket per adult is included with the ticket purchase.

General ticket prices for the Friday Night Kick-off Reception on November 20 are $5 cash only per person at the entrance. The V.I.P access ticket is $35 per person. Tickets are limited and advance ticket purchase is encouraged. On Saturday, November 21,general admission is free to the public. The special Princess and Pirate Entertainment Experience is $30 per person. Tickets are limited and advance purchase is required. All funds raised from this event go to support JLPB’s mission.
