Electing the President by Popular Vote

Presidential elections have become contests decided by just thousands of voters in a handful of battleground states. Hear more about National Popular Vote and how, without changing the Electoral College, it will make every vote count and make every vote count equally when electing the president.

Guest Speaker:

Daniel Lishansky, who serves on the Steering Committee of Floridians for National Popular Vote, and as District Chair of National Popular Vote of Palm Beach County.

Fountains Country Club, 4476 Fountains Drive in Lake Worth 33467  (South of Lake Worth Road, West of Jog Road)

Notes:

+ Doors open at 11:00 am. The 3-course, sit-down lunch begins at 11:30 am, the program starts at noon.

+ Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Fee is nonrefundable.

+ Deadline to register is November 14, 2024.

Parking:
+  Show your driver’s license at the gatehouse and tell them you are “from the League of Women Voters attending a luncheon at the Clubhouse”.
+ Entering from Lake Worth Rd: Clubhouse is less than 1/4 mile on your right.
+ Entering from Jog Rd: follow signs to Clubhouse, 1.5 miles.
   (Gate at Melaleuca and Jog Rd is for Residents Only.)
+ Enter clubhouse parking area at large sign “Fountains Country Club“.
+  Self-park where available. There is plenty of parking.
+ Enter through main doors under portico.
