(West Palm Beach, FL – February 16, 2023) The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County (LWVPBC)today invited voters and activists to another informative Hot Topic Discussion and Lunch.

An Insider’s Guide to Local Political Issues & Trends

Guest Speaker: Tony Doris, Editorial Page Editor of The Palm Beach Post and published author.

Bio: Raised in New York, Boston and Brussels, Tony Doris unhitched from his newspaper career at age 30 to trek through Asia and Australia before reporting for a newspaper in Tahiti, where he was paid in breadfruit. After settling in South Florida, he dug into the worlds of government and business as an investigative reporter, editor, and columnist. In addition to The Palm Beach Post, his work has appeared in the St. Petersburg Times, Miami Daily Business Review, and more. He is the author of two delicious mysteries, Dirt and Floater: A Novel, both available through Amazon.

Registration Fee: $35 (includes lunch)

Tour of Garden Fee: $12

+ Lunch begins at 11:30 am. Choice of boxed lunch: Strawberry Citrus Salad or Turkey Avocado Wrap (black/white cookie included with both).

+ Program begins at noon.
