FoundCare, Inc. Wins Prestigious Sapphire Award From Florida Blue Foundation
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – FoundCare, Inc. was recently honored by Florida Blue Foundation with a Sapphire Award recognizing “Excellence and Innovation in Community Health.” As part of the award, FoundCare received $50,000 that will be used to help support the services the organization provides to uninsured and underinsured patients.
FoundCare fulfills the unmet healthcare and social service needs of individuals and families in Palm Beach County. In 2016, FoundCare served 14,807 patients for a total of 51,992 visits. Nearly half of all FoundCare Health Center patients in 2016 were uninsured.

Established in 2005 by the Florida Blue Foundation, the Sapphire Awards recognize and promote excellence and innovation in community health leadership and programming in Florida. The annual awards are given to organizations that have improved access to health-related services for Florida’s at-risk populations and communities.
FoundCare, Inc. is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that offers pediatric and adult primary care, chronic disease management, behavioral health services, dentistry, laboratory services and X-rays, and an on-site pharmacy, all in one location.
