Young Art Masters Auction
Wellington FL – March 25, 2014 – The Young Art Masters Auction showcases the talents of local student artists while raising funds for the art programs for their schools. Wellington residents Jeremy and Margaret Jacobs provided art supplies to four public high schools in the local area, enabling the imagination of students to create pieces for a virtual auction.
The participating schools are: Wellington High School, Palm Beach Central High School, Royal Palm Beach High School, and Seminole Ridge Community High School.
Each piece of artwork interprets the theme “Palm Beach County – through the eyes of young artists.” The art pieces are currently in display at the Wellington Regional Medical Center or are available for preview at www.youngartmasterswellington.org.
The artwork is currently available for auction and the bidding has begun! The deadline to place a bid is April 10, 2014.
“We are proud to be a part of this wonderful project,” Tom Wenham, Executive Director of Wellington Preservation Coalition said. “We know that everyone can do something to support and encourage our children to continue their love for art. The artwork is amazing. Please visit the website and place your bids. All of the proceeds go back to their local schools. We believe it is vital to keep programs like this in our schools. Help keep the arts alive.”
