YWCA Seeks Out Youth Racial Justice Award Nominations

 

 The YWCA of Palm Beach County is seeking nominations for its 2011 Youth Racial Justice Award.  The award is presented annually to a youth or youth group in Palm Beach County that has demonstrated leadership in reducing and/or preventing racial injustice in the community.

 

Information required on the application includes the nominee’s name, the person making the nomination’s name, address and phone number, and details about how the nominee has exemplified racial justice leadership.  Clippings, photos and other supporting material may be included.

 

The award will be presented at the YWCA Annual Membership Meeting to be held on June 28, 2011, at Sea Gull Cottage, Royal Poinciana Chapel, 60 Cocoanut Row, Palm Beach. 

 

Applications must be received by the YWCA no later than June 10, 2011 at:  Youth Racial Justice Award Committee, YWCA of Palm Beach County, 2200 N. Florida Mango Road, Ste. 102, West Palm Beach, FL 33409.
