Lake Worth, FL – Spotlight of Wellington Performing Arts Studio and Lake Worth High School brought the timeless magic of the The Jungle spotlight1Book to Lake Worth in a new original family-friendly production on Saturday, May 12th, 2012 and Sunday, May 13th.  The production was performed by Spotlight of Wellington’s theatre troupe and theatre classes, along with dances from all of Spotlight’s dance classes.  The participation of these local performers was made possible under the direction of Niki Ann Giliberti and Brittany Kiser.  Original costumes were designed by Stacey Stein.

Inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s famous novel by the same name, Spotlight’s full-length lavish production was choreographed by Ivy Canapa, Lacey Canapa, Alexandra Dow, Niki Ann Giliberti, and Kenneth Fowler.  Ryan Lee created the set design, and the students of the Lake Worth High School theatre department assisted in the production of the show.

“Our audience loved how this story was brought to life, incorporating incredible dance, costumes, theatre and music,” says Giliberti.

spotlight2The show followed the jubilant and sometimes treacherous adventures of Mowgli, played by Anthony Mennella.
