Wellington Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business RoundTable Session at Whole Foods

The Wellington Chamber of Commerce is presenting the third session of the Small Business RoundTable series Tuesday, June 12th, 2012 at Whole Foods Market in Wellington.  This series was created to help area businesses by providing the latest tools and knowledge for them to attain their business and financial goals. The series covers many aspects of business including accounting, business planning, legal matters, government assistance programs, traditional marketing, digital (internet) marketing, public relations, managing employees, etc.  Different experts in these particular fields share their knowledge in an informative and interactive atmosphere.

The session this month is titled “Law and Location.”  Speakers who will be presenting include:

Alec Domb from the Law Offices of Alexander L. Domb, P.A. who will discuss the legal steps in opening a business, the best corporate structure, and general legal issues.

 

Jonathan D. Rubins, Director of Property Management with Schmier & Feurring Properties, Inc. and Kevin Shapiro, Principal of Shapiro/Pertnoy Companies who will both discuss and explain the importance of business locations and analyze buying and leasing options.

 

Diane Brockway, Managing Director of Lake Wellington Professional Centre who will cover the pro’s and con’s of physical, virtual and home offices.

 

Blanca Greenstein of Morris Laing Evans Brock & Kennedy

will be the Moderator.
