Casey Cares Foundation Inviting Families to Join Them For
National Wear Pajamas To Work Day
South Florida – Looking for a fun way to give back while you are quarantined? Casey Cares Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating memorable experiences for critically ill children, invites families to participate in their pajama party on April 16th.
“We know that families are homebound during this time,” shared Casey Baynes, founder of the organization. “For Casey Cares families, this is life for them on a regular basis. Our organization works to make life just a little bit better for them and to break up the monotony of hospital stays and doctor visits. We all know how good a new pair of pjs feels and we are excited to see everyone wearing theirs!”
Community members are invited to take pictures of their families wearing pajamas and post them to Facebook on April 16th and tag @CaseyCares using the hashtag #CaseyCaresBiggestPJParty.
Those who can, are invited to also make a $40 donation to Casey Cares to provide a movie and pizza night to the family of a critically-ill child in need.
Added Baynes, “for so many of our families, these nights provide a reprieve and create lasting memories, even a final memory for some. It is such as easy way to make a huge impact.”

About Casey Cares Foundation: Casey Cares knows how difficult life can be for families with critically ill children. We focus on the entire family, not simply the sick child. We help keep families’ spirits high by arranging bi-monthly programming – whether it’s a movie night and a fresh pair of pajamas or the chance to attend a major sporting event. Founded 20 years ago, Casey Cares makes life a lot better for families in eight states including Florida and D.C. Rather than once-a-lifetime or once-a-year, we believe the best palliative care comes from continuous, ongoing support. Learn more at caseycares.org.
