On Wednesday, November 5, charitable guests mingled at Morton’s The Steakhouse in West Palm Beach for the eagerly anticipated Easter Seals Florida “Get Down to Business Lunch” kickoff event.

The evening was celebrated by more than 50 guests and event sponsors, and featured a special introduction to guests of honor and Easter Seals’ family ambassadors, Tracey and Bradley Ross, and their son Jacob Reed.

The 8th Annual Get Down to Business Lunch, presented by The Breakers Palm Beach, will take place on January 21, 2015, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts’ Cohen Pavilion. Special guest speaker is Dr. Rick Bommelje, also known as the “Listening Doctor,” who will speak about his best-selling book, Listening Pays: Achieve Significance Through the Power of Listening. Proceeds from this event will support local children with special needs at Easter Seals’ Igoe-Amar Child Development Center in West Palm Beach.

Chairman of this year’s event is Neil Merin of NAI/Merin Hunter Codman, Inc. Vice chairmen are Shuly Oletzky of Frigibar Industries, Inc. and Brian Seymour of Gunster Law Firm.  Honorary chairmen are Paul Leone of The Breakers Palm Beach and H. William Perry of Gunster Law Firm.
