HISTORICAL WALKING TOURS WITH RICK GONZALEZ RESUME FOR SEASON
Each month, take a walk through history
with The Historical Society of Palm Beach County beginning November 14th!
West Palm Beach, FL | November 11, 2013 – The Historical Society of Palm Beach County will host a free Downtown West Palm Beach History Stroll, led by Architect and Historian Rick Gonzalez of REG Architects, next Friday, November 14th. This is the first Historical Walking Tour of the season, which will occur one Friday per month through May 2015. The one-hour guided tour showcases the evolution of downtown West Palm Beach, highlighting historic buildings and notable landmarks. This very popular tour also features an overview of historical urban design through recent area development.

Special tours offered by the Historical Society, such as the Historical Walking Tour, grew from a desire to present visitors to Palm Beach County, history buffs and lovers of the outdoors with activities that are educational, fun, and introduce everyone to the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum.
